Barenaked Ladies today embark on a 20-date Canadian tour, kicking off at the CN Centre in Prince George, BC.

The stretch – another leg of the Silverball Tour – takes the band across their homeland for a month-long jaunt, winding up at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa on 21st November.

Joining BNL to open up the shows is long-term friend of the band, Alan Doyle. Familiar to many as the lead singer of Great Big Sea, Doyle will provide an opening set to delight fans with a mix of classic GBS tunes and material from his new solo album, So Let’s Go.

It’s hotly tipped that fans could be treated to a BNL/Alan collaboration, after Ed recently teamed up with the Newfoundland-born star on new single “1,2,3,4” [watch below].
